What is the difference between stage 1 and 2?
Stage 1, we normally aim to maximize defect removal without sacrificing clarity, using one type of pad to cut & polish around the whole vehicle at once. This usually works great for newer vehicles in decent condition or to improve gloss up doesn't fully correct deeper scratches or heavy swirls marks. This is a great option for paint enhancement and ready for ceramic coating to newer vehicles or in decent condition vehicle.
Stage 2, This takes two separate process cut & polish. A dedicated compounding (cutting) for deeper defect removal, which remove imperfections such as swirl marks, light scratches and other moderate paint defects. This compounding stage1 will usually leave behind a bit of haze so a 2nd polishing step is used to refine the paint to make the vehicle look best as possible. This takes more time but great higher paint correction ready for ceramic coating or paint protection and high gloss near showroom result finish.
